DUDLEY, Mass. (Oct. 25) – The Commonwealth Coast Conference has announced the pairings for the 2011 men's and women's soccer tournaments that are slated to begin on Saturday, October 29. Western New England (15-3-1, 9-0-0) earned the men's No. 1 seed while University of New England (12-2-2, 8-0-1) clinched the top seed for the women's tournament.
The Nichols men's soccer team (10-4-2, 5-3-1) has earned the #3 seed and will host #6 Wentworth (6-7-3, 3-4-2) on Saturday at 3:00 p.m. at Michael J. Vendetti Field. Earlier this season the Bison blanked the Leopards 1-0 and have won the last three of four meetings.
On the women's side, Nichols (6-8-2, 2-5-2) has claimed the #7 seed and will travel to #2 Roger Williams (11-6-1, 8-1-0) for a 1:00 p.m. contest. The Bison fell to the Hawks 3-1 on September 17 and sport a series record of 9-11-1 dating back to 1992.
