SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (Oct. 18) – Nichols senior Maria DiTommaso was named the Commonwealth Coast Conference Women's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, it was announced Tuesday. The senior joins junior Maureen Lynch and first-year Bryanna Goodine who took home defensive and rookie nods earlier this season.
 
DiTommaso scored the game-tying goal in the 65th minute to help the Bison tie league-leading Salve Regina, 1-1, on Tuesday. The next day DiTommaso capped off a three-match scoring streak 12 minutes into a rescheduled contest at Bay Path.
 
Nichols (5-6-2, 2-3-2) heads to Western New England (3-10-2, 1-5-1) this afternoon for a CCC match beginning at 3:30 p.m.
