DUDLEY, Mass (April 26) – The Nichols College men's lacrosse team's postseason fate was decided by a coin flip Monday afternoon, as The Commonwealth Coast Conference conducted a three-way coin toss to determine the eighth and final seed in the upcoming men's lacrosse tournament. The University of New England won the flip and earned the final postseason berth. Nichols concludes its season with a 2-8 TCCC ledger and a 5-10 overall record – the most wins since 2004.

Nichols, Wentworth and University of New England all remained deadlocked after the first four tiebreak situations were played out, leaving the final decision to the coin toss as per TCCC. UNE had the “odd coin” in the toss and earned the final spot in the tournament.
