CAPE COD, Mass. (Jan. 25) – Junior forward Matt Roberts (Merrimac, Mass.) and first-year forward Zach Kohn (Hartland, Wis.) have been named the ECAC Northeast Hockey League Player and Rookie of the Week, respectively, for play ending Sunday, January 24. Roberts recorded five points on his first three goals of the season and a pair of assists, while Kohn added to his conference-leading point total with six on two goals and four assists to guide the Bison to a pair of conference victories this week. The award marks the first for Roberts, and the fourth for Kohn.

Roberts’ three goals- one on the power play, one short-handed and one game-winner, marked the first on the season for the former New England Huskies (EJHL). He recorded four points against Johnson & Wales Wednesday with two goals and two assists, notching an unassisted, short-handed score and assisting the game-winner. He added the game-winning goal on the power-play at Suffolk on Saturday.
