LEICESTER, Mass.(Jan. 2) - Freshman Natalie Wilson (Bedford, N.H.) scored a game high 11 points for Nichols, as the Bison defeated Becker College 69-36 in non-conference women's basketball action.

Senior guard Lyndsey Bennett (North Brookfield, Mass) led the Nichols starters with nine points. Michele Guerin (Chicopee, Mass.) and Ashley Robidoux (Milford, Mass) pulled down six rebounds each.  The Bison never relinquished their lead the entire game, shooting 40.6 % from the field. Nichols improved to 6-4 on the season and saw all but one player in the lineup score at least one point.

Junior Heidi Miller led the Hawks with ten points and nine rebounds in a losing effort. Senior Courtney Fiske chipped in with ten points of her own. Becker fell to 0-8 overall. The Hawks will travel to Eastern Nazarene on Tuesday night.

Nichols is back in action on Tuesday in a 7 p.m. game at Johnson & Wales.
