The Nichols College women’s basketball team shot 56% from the field and controlled play throughout, rolling to an 80-60 defeat over Gordon at the Bennett Center on Saturday. The win – the third in a row - moves the Bison to 11-9 overall and 4-5 in TCCC play. Gordon drops to 9-12, and stands at 2-7 in conference action. Lyndsey Bennett (No. Brookfield, Mass.) filled the stats sheet with 12 points, four assists, four rebounds and five steals.

DUDLEY, Mass. (Feb. 3) – The Nichols College women’s basketball team rallied past Anna Maria for a 67-59 victory in a The Commonwealth Coast Conference matchup Wednesday evening. The Bison improve to 10-9 overall and 3-5 in conference action, while the AMCATS dip to 9-11 and 1-7 in league games. Ashley Robidoux (Milford, Mass.) led Nichols with 13 points and a game-high eight assists, netting nine in the second half.

The Western New England College women’s basketball used a late rally to top Nichols College, 77-68, in a The Commonwealth Coast Conference matchup Thursday evening. The Golden Bears rallied from an 11-point deficit with just over nine minutes left in the game to improve to 11-5 overall and 4-2 in conference games. Nichols dips to 8-9 overall and 1-5 in TCCC action. Sophomore forward Lena Fracassini (Bridgeport, Conn.) scored 12 points to go with eight rebounds on the night.
