Part of the Nichols athletics program is not just varsity sports but also a large intramural program which can provide intense competition as well as an overall fun experience. This winter, Nichols offered both indoor soccer and basketball. There were 18 soccer teams and 18 basketball teams, broken into three groups of six. The winner of each group went onto play in the playoffs as well as a wild card team from any of the three groups.

The four teams that made it into the playoffs in basketball were Infantry, FEE, the J. Lewis All Stars and Team Takeover. Team Takeover defeated Infantry in the championship game. The participants on Team Takeover where David Hardaway, Antiwone Carr, Curt Smith, Marvell Cunningham, Chris Stewart, Anthony Freni, Jonathan Merjuste, Langston Little and Anthony Cogliano.

The four soccer teams that advanced to the playoffs where Rest of World, Healy, Italia and the Destroyers. In the championship game it was Healy vs. the Destroyers in which team Healy won. The participates on team Healy where Chris Healy, Dan Milot, Shawn Santos, Jonathan Micalizzi, Pat Pio, Ryan Edwards, Sean Tarrant, Ryan Paradis, and Jeff Powers.
